After a couple postponements due to the crazy weather before Christmas, It was awesome to finally catch up with Yensi and Scott for their Engagement shoot at Mt Lees. These two were naturals in front of the camera and with the beautiful backdrop nature provided, it was pure magic. We are looking forward to capturing their Wedding later this year!

What and amazing day for Christina and Franks wedding! Even their fur baby got to be there and in our book, it’s always the best day when that happens. The ceremony was held at the beautiful Rose Gardens at the Victoria Esplanade . Christina looked stunning in her gown by Demelza Davidson that features elements of her culture that blended perfectly with the traditional style bridal gown. Frank’s outfit followed the same theme showing elements of his personality and background and the two complimented each other so well with their individual style. The reception was held at Camp Rangi Woods in the beautiful Pohangina Valley and they had the most outstanding cake we have ever seen by Heavens Cakes on Earth. You can check out more of their big day on the Weddings and Portraits page.

They say rain on your Wedding day is good luck and I agree with that. Michelle and Bede got some of that good luck rain during their ceremony. Yes we all got a bit wet and yes it did get a bit muddy but this added to the adventure and when the sun came out we were able to make the most of it. The wild and beautiful Tangimoana beach provided the perfect backdrop as Michelle and Bede practiced some of their dance moves and the dress from Bridal Studio was perfect for this. Then onto the reception for more dancing, great food by Jamil’s catering and cake by Petit Fours. Check out more of their awesome day on the Weddings & portraits page.
